I had so much fun participating in the Bang in the Night Bingo challenge this past season! It was hosted by the love ladies that do the But Do They Bang? book club Jacque, Beth and Melissa. I was mostly just planning on getting the three bingos to enter the giveaway, but I ended up being able to use more books than expected for the board. I did post the three bingos as soon as I got them in the giveaway thread on discord, but kept going trying for a blackout using each book only once. After squeezing in two novellas late Halloween night, I was able to get my blackout! In cased you missed my tbr/announcement post, below is the blank board.
Blow is my completed board! Now, like I mentioned above you could have used a book for multiple prompts, up to three. Each review will be listing what each book could've covered, but I'll just list where I placed it below. Now, in the templates they offered for the readathon they had a review option that had a space for a theme song. Since I've been really into Taylor Swift lately, I decided to do a Taylor Swift song for each review. Some are little more abstract, but I will also list which song I assigned as well! If you want to listen to which part of the lyrics I chose, check out my instagram. I have all my templates and final board saved in my highlights. I'll be listing them in order on the board, starting with the top left corner and going row by row.

So, writing this up I noticed that when I did my final wrap up I used You Belong With Me again for Hot as Hades. I have officially changed it to Fearless. I might go back and fix my highlight, but then I'd have to do a lot of reposting to get things in order. If I have free time I'll probably do it, but we'll see. Also, I'll add links to any reviews that haven't been posted yet as they go up. I had a lot of fun and did see Melissa mention in the discord that they are working on a smaller and shorter bingo board for the Christmas season. I usually don't read too much in December since I'm cramming in as much crafting time as possible on top of sports and Hallmark Christmas movies, but I do have quite a few holiday and Christmas books I want to read. I might start some in November though since I've kind of been getting into the mood. We'll see what happens. If you're interested in joining the next bingo challenge or the book club, message any of the hosts to get a discord invite. It's great fun! I'm not super active but I love lurking.
Did you participate in the Bang in the Night Bingo?
Bookishly Yours,
Stasiπ
