Better late than never right! We are here, mid-September to wrap up the books I read in August. There's been a lot of life stuff going on so I have myself a couple week break, but now it's time to get caught back up! August started out really well with the Romance Takeover Readathon, but then my reading certainly took a dip and things got closer to the end of the month. I was at least able to finish the first bingo board for Summer of Swoon though!

13. Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas βββββ
π It's a hard choice for this month on my favorite, but I think Second Star to the Left just edges out Empire of Storms. My expectations weren't as high for it and it completely blew me away. My most disappointing would be A Captivating Touch. I just really struggled reading that one.
We'll see what September brings, but so far my reading is still a little slow. Hopefully it'll pick back up near the end of the month, but we'll see what I end up getting done. We've got the start of the 2nd annual Bang in the Night starting soon as well as halfway through the first month of Fall in Love.
How was your reading in August?
Bookishly Yours,
Stasiπ
